10:00 - 18:00 | Mariahilferplatz
In Search of Fulfillment
from 15th to 31th of may at the Mariahilferplatz (except sundays 19.5. and 26.5.)
The multi-year project by Lisa and Wilfried Prantner (Bis es mir vom Leibe fällt) will make a stop at Mariahilferplatz after the successful kick-off in Berlin (fall 2023), where an original-sized semi-trailer truck sculpture made from used textiles will continue to be woven, tufted and sewn. Practical workshops will be held around and in connection with this. In addition, lectures, readings and performances will explore the question of what "fulfillment", the handling process of online retail, has to do with fast fashion, waste production and happiness. To what extent this "fulfillment" is the epitome of our wasteful way of life and whether it actually brings fulfillment or needs to be thoroughly reworked.
Mi 15.05. – FR 31.05. (except Sundays 19.5. and 26.5.)
